The Suva Women rugby side will have to dig deep to main­tain the momentum in the Skipper Cup Premiership semifi­nal.

The unbeaten capital city wom­en’s team will face Nadi at Ratu Ca­kobau Park, Nausori on Saturday.

Coach Elenoa Kunatuba said the side will try to remaining unbeaten

“We want to remain undefeated in the competition,” Kunatuba said

“We have also had some hiccups along the way with some of the players not showing up for train­ing. Hopefully we will get the team ready for the weekend.

“Coming to the semifinal brings a lot of pressure on the teams to per­form.”

It has been a good season for Suva with all the three teams qualifying for the semifinals.

Kunatuba praised the Nadi side with their performance in past games and they are looking for­ward to a tough match this week­end

“Nadi is an unpredictable team they are very physical on how they play up front and contesting the breakdown,” she said

“But we are aiming to play in the final.”
