Malolo Women Qualify

Malolo women edged Namosi 30- 27 in the Skipper Cup Premiership semifinal at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka yesterday.
What Happened
In the 6th minute Namosi’s Lavena Cavuru scored the first try before Malolo’s Karalaini Naisewa leveled the scores 5-5 in the 8th minute.
In the 11th minute Malolo’s Asena Rokomarave was yellow carded.
Namosi’s Esitieri Bulikiobo scored their second try in the 14th minute, 10-5 before Litia Naiqato leveled the scores in the 19th minute, 10-10.
Namosi’s Laisani Navukuro scored another try in the 22nd minute, 15-10.
Malolo fought back in the second half when Akanisi Sokoiwasa scored two tries in the 61st and 65th minute for them to lead 20-15.
In the 66th minute Bulikiobo was yellow carded allowing Malolo to score in the 30th minute through Ateca Leiyamo to extend their lead 25-15.
In the 72nd minute Sisilia Tina of Namosi scored another try which was converted, 22-25.
Malolo’s Akanisi Sokoiwasa scored in the 75th minute, 30-22.
Namosi Roela Cakaunivalu scored the last try in the 82nd minute.
