Inspired by Bollywood movies, Rishikul Sanatan College has produced a suspense thriller for the Kula Film Festival.

The students are keeping the content under wraps until it shows on the big screen.

School Kula Film Co-ordinator and teacher, Elaine Chandra, said the film was to help the students learn how to produce movies with the use of special effects.

She said students had been encouraged to think outside the box.

“The short film was focusing on how to direct a movie with the use of flashback, sound and visual effects,” she said.

The director and actor of the short film, Year 12 student Shahil Chand said, they have learned a lot while producing the mystery suspense short film.

“The students enjoyed making the movie,” he said.

The Kula Film Festival is from July 27 to July 28 in Suva. Edited by Ranoba Baoa
