Defending champions for the HFC Bank Voreqe Bainimarama Shield Northland has set a target to challenge the HFC Bank Farebrother Trophy this year.

The Watisoni Ratulevu-coached side last week defeated Yasawa 30-20 and plans to repeat the feat against Lautoka this week.

Ratulevu said they need to keep their body in shape after playing every week.

“We have a bigger goal and that is to challenge the Farebrother Trophy,” Ratulevu said.

“Last week three players were injured and we need to rotate players.

“The will to win is what drives the team.”

Ratulevu is urging Northlanders to support the teami.

“We saw that not much supporters came to watch the game and we need their support.”

Naitasiri will challenge Namosi for the Farebrother Trophy this Saturday at Thomson Park, Navua.
