2018 Special For LMS

Lelean Memorial School will be competing in all six grades during the Powerade Super Deans Rugby quarterfinals at the ANZ Stadium today.
And a win for all will be special as the school plans to celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2018
LMS principal Laisa Soko is grateful how the teams performed so far and is looking forward to the match-ups today.
“We are so proud that all the grades qualify for the national quarters,” Soko said
“And that is an achievement for us because that is one of our targets for 2018 and that is to improve in all the sports we take part in.
“The teams have prepared well as they are expecting tough competitions from all the schools.
“But the players are determined and primed for the challenge and we will treat all our matches as our final.
“Our objective is to go in and do our best against our opponents.”
Soko said the U18 team are ready to play Cuvu College.
“We know they are a strong team coming from Nadroga but our players will do their best to come out victorious.
“We urge our supporters to turn up as this is a special year for LMS.
“A win will be the icing on the cake as we plan to celebrate the school’s 75th year anniversary.”
