Fiji Car Club president Raizal Haniff said out of the 43 cars that took part, they recorded four new drivers.
“We are happy with the number of racers,” he said.
“A few drivers were able to record personal best times and so our hard work is playing off. Driver Kevin Reddy was able to join the 12 seconds club after years of racing.
“Ah Sam still is having issues with his car but I believe that he will be able to race less than 10 seconds. He still has a long way to go and we still a few more races organised.”
Haniff thanked their sponsors Pacific Energy for their continuous support and they have planned to have another race soon.
“We are trying to seek approval from the landowners and we will get confirmation on Thursday on when to have another race,” Haniff said.
