Top Author Is Presenter At CPA Congress

One of Australia’s top business authors will present at September’s Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA) congress.
The congress will be held at the Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort and Spa, Yanuca Island from September 13 to 14.
Yamini Naidu is rated among the top business storytellers globally and is one of the world’s only economist turned business storyteller.
She is a best-selling author, master facilitator and keynote speaker.
Ms Naidu works with leaders regularly, helping them shift from spreadsheets to stories.
Ms Yamini recently received a Global Leadership Development Award 2017.
This award recognises the results she has had, the impact of her work with clients and her thought leadership in business storytelling.
Ms Naidu is currently the Director of yamininaidu.com.au.
In 2005 she co-founded one of Australia’s first storytelling companies.
She is a much sought after presenter, combining authenticity and humor with rich insights.
She has held senior leadership roles and has extensive corporate experience working in a range of industry sectors including information technology, retail, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce, Government and financial services with senior industry leaders, key stakeholders and company boards.
Ms Naidu has also taught leadership and management at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University in Melbourne, Australia.
She is an economist by training, and a post graduate (and scholarship winner) from the London School of Economics.
Ms Naidu is the co-author of business best seller ‘Hooked: How leaders connect, engage and inspire using storytelling.’
Her new book Power Play: Game changing influence strategies for leaders has been published internationally by John Wiley and Sons.
Ms Naidu is also a voluntary guide at the National Gallery of Victoria in Australia.
She also sometimes performs stand up comedy (as a hobby!) and featured in a best of showcase at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2018.
She also is committed to social enterprise and supports this through pro-bono work the High Resolves Global Citizenship and Leadership Programmess which offer a three‐year transformational experience for high school students in Years 8 to 10.
Her work also involves supporting and working with Pollinate Energy, a not-for-profit organisation focused on energy access for poor people living in urban India.
