Usamate Highlights Key Elements In Advancing Work Environment
Promoting decent, productive work and encouraging a healthy lifestyle are key elements to advancing competitiveness and productivity in the workplace.
This was highlighted by the Minister for Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations Jone Usamate as he officiated at the launch of the Ministry’s Health and Wellness Programme for the Financial Year 2018-2019 at the Southern Cross Hotel in Suva on Friday.
Mr Usamate said workers were the most important asset in any organisation and the state of their health and their valuable contributions have been given the highest priority.
He said his ministry was committed to delivering a safe, healthy, high quality and productivity driven workplace for all workers.
“Without a proper health and wellness, one cannot enjoy the richness in living a good and healthy lifestyle,” Mr Usamate said.
