A 21-year-old farmer charged with abduction has been ordered not to set foot on Moala Island again until granted by a court order.

It is alleged that on June 18, 2018 between 6.30pm and 9.30pm, Vuli allegedly abducted the 17-year-old victim from a school compound and took her unlawfully to his village in Moala.

Vuli was granted bail on the assurance of one surety and bail sum of $500.

The accused is now residing at Nasinu and must report to the Valelevu Police Station every Wednesday between 6am and 6pm.

Chief Magistrate Ratuvili told the accused to reside at the given address until the case was completed.
