Business As Usual For Grace Road After Arrest Of Founder

Korean authorities are investigating the founder of a popular food company operating in Fiji.

Reverend Shin Ok Joo, founder of Grace Road Company, was arrested last week.

A statement from the company said that Ms Ok Joo was arrested on false claims.

They claim that these claims have gone too far.

The company in response to numerous questions on various allegations stated that while this is a ridiculous event they want to officially clear their name and silence the detractors through this.

“Grace Road Group is composed of Christians who see, hear, believe, and act by the Bible,” it stated.

“Under the motto of ‘Honesty, Sincerity, Diligence before God and men,’ we work every day to make Fiji the strongest nation in the world and to make the world where God is only God.

“You can see this vision and our commitment to it in our restaurants, products and services, achievements and above all in our people.

Many in Fiji share this vision and values with us and support us as partners, suppliers, and customers.

Then, there are those who don’t like our vision and what we achieve.

“These people have been making outrageous claims and spreading false information in the media, especially in Korea.”

They said GR Group consists of 150 investors and their families, who believe in the vision and volunteered to come to Fiji.

“With 220 local employees, we want to expand our businesses and provide the quality products and services to the local and overseas market,” it stated.

“Through this, we want to encourage the communities to aim high and build the Fiji nation together.

“This grand vision, which is based on the Bible, drives us to move forward.

“We are scheduled to open new restaurants and retail stores in August and September in new areas.

“We grow more rice, vegetable, and fruits than ever for import substitution.

“We are progressing product development and export market development.

“GR Group asks people of Fiji to watch our work and achievements and join our efforts to make Fiji shine in the world.”
