Cricket Get Vodafone Support

The Cricket Fiji team received another major boost ahead of their participation in the lCC East Asia Pacific Sub-Regional World T20 Qualifier later this month.
Vodafone Fiji handed over 23 Samsung J1 Ace mobile phones to players and officials following their team run at Albert Park, Suva yesterday. This makes Vodafone to be the eighth corporate sponsors supporting the national team.
Cricket Fiji board director Liga Gukisuva was overwhelmed with the support.
“Today marked another milestone for Cricket Fiji as we announce the eighth corporate partner to join Cricket Fiji. Gukisuva said.
“Having this big corporate organization to come and support Cricket Fiji is a big boost not only to support the sport but to the players as well.”
Gukisuva have also confirmed that players will get to share a $20,000 bonus if they win the tournament.
“On Friday we will make the announcement of the bonuses for players.”
The tournament will be held at Suva’s Albert Park on August 23-30.
