The Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Navy Hospital Ship Ark Peace arrives at Suva Queens Wharf, tomorrow, Thursday, August 2, 2018.
The Republic of Fiji Military Forces and Chinese Embassy will hold a welcome ceremony for the ship at the Port of Suva.
This is the second time the military floating vessel is visiting Fiji.
His Excellency E. Mr. Qian Bo, Chinese ambassador to Fiji, chief of staff RFMF, senior officials of Ministry of National Security and Defence, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Health and Medical Service will attend the formal welcome ceremony.
The welcome ceremony, include the RFMF Band march and Chinese traditional lion dance; a VIP on-board tour and an interview with the Mission Commander on the flight deck.
