New Zealand Into FANCA Final

The New Zealand Muslim team are on a high after qualifying for the final of the Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, America FANCA Muslim Football tournament at Churchill Park, Lautoka, yesterday.
In their final match New Zealand thrashed defending champions Canada 4-1.
Both teams started strongly and were leveled 1-1 at halftime.
But classy football by New Zealand in the second half saw them pull away with three brilliant goals.
New Zealand captain Fistun Aden said the first half did not really go as planned.
“We were playing against the defending champions who displayed some good football,” he said.
However Aden says, the second half was in their favour as they maintained possession and began to pressure the Canadian defence.
Reaching the final is not the end for the team and Aden is confident of taking the trophy back to New Zealand.
New Zealand assistant coach, Imraan Ali said that teamwork was a major factor driving the side forward.
“Now our mission is to lift the trophy,” he added.
