Soqoiwasa: No catch up
Queen Victoria School take on defending Under-14 champions Ratu Kadavulevu School in the Powerade Super Deans Rugby Championship final at the ANZ Stadium, Suva on Saturday.
This was after the boys from Matavatucou trounced Suva Grammar School 43-6 in the first semifinal while RKS beat Lelean Memorial School 19-8.
RKS vice-principal, Walesi Soqoiwasa applauded the young squad for maintaining the standard of rugby that RKS is known for.
“It was a big win from QVS and I know we will need to prepare well when we head into the final.
“We had a slow start against Lelean Memorial School as we then began to push forward in the second half which is what we are trying to avoid.
“The coach, Ulaiasi Lawe will go back and look at our mistakes before the final.”
