Police Constable Losalini Loloma has dedicated her success during a prosecutors course to her parents in Kia, Macuata, Vanua Levu.

PC Loloma wished her parents had witnessed her success after she was awarded the Dux prize at the Advance Prosecution Course 2018 graduation ceremony in Suvavou House yesterday.

“I dedicate this award to my parents back at home, I was thinking of them today and I wish they were here,” she said.

“They have always been very supportive.”

She also thanked her husband for his support.

PC Loloma said the six-week course was very informative and it would really help her when she resumed work next week.

“I am a summary prosecutor, only prosecuting in the Magistrates Court and I am glad to be part of this course,” she said.

“We have been taught by lawyers on how to be good in analysing evidence, which was the core of this course.

“We were also taught on how to tackle the drawbacks.

“The course has been very helpful and for me personally it has assisted me and being the dux was a big achievement in itself for me. It wouldn’t have been possible without the Lord’s blessings.”

PC Loloma is based with the Nausori Prosecution Unit.
