Storm Sign Students

Three players will join the National Rugby League (NRL) powerhouse Melbourne Storm in 2019.
The players signed up during the Powerade Super Deans Rugby Championship semi-finals at the ANZ Stadium, Suva last week.
They are Marist Brothers High School U15 fullback Isaiah Tolotu, Queen Victoria U14 centre Eroni Nabukani and No. 8 Netani Baleisomosomo.
Speaking to SUNsports from Australia yesterday former Fijian Bati and NRL rep Wise Kativerata confirmed Tolotu have signed a three-year contract and an opportunity to study at Nudgee College in Brisbane.
Matavatucou duo Nabukani and Baleisomosomo will attend Saint Kentigern College in Auckland on a three –year scholarship.
Storm Fijian winger Suliasi Vunivalu also attended St Kentigern before he was identified by the Storm.
“Tolotu have signed a deal with Storm while Nabukani have been offered a scholarship but will sign his deal with the Storm when he turns 15 next year. Baleisomosomo and Nabukani will be attending all Storm camps,” Kativerata said.
Kativerata accompanied Storm development academy recruitment officer Dane Campbell who was surprised to see the number of talents in Fiji.
“We have a list of players who we are interested in and will be contacting the families soon.”
A case in point is Ratu Kadavulevu School U18 centre Solomone Naiduki.
“We have been following Naiduki since the U14 grade and right now we have all papers ready for him. We are just waiting for him to agree and sign his contract,” Kativerata said.
Canberra Raiders scouts were also present during the semi-final.
