Tilak High School and Natabua High School dominated Day One of the Tuckers Fiji Second­ary Schools Hockey tour­nament at the Fiji National Hockey Centre, Suva yes­terday.

The THS Under-19 girls’ team thrashed Lelean Me­morial School 4-0 while NHS U19 side walloped Saint John’s College 3-0.

FSSH vice-president Mau­sio Mafai said this year’s competition has been one of the toughest.

“It is good to see teams coming out and bringing their best performances,” he said.

“Right now it’s hard to de­termine who can be the fa­vourites, seeing the point’s margin is not that much.” Mafai added the top three teams will play in the na­tional finals.
