It was back to the classroom for the 2018 Vodafone Fiji Hibiscus Festival contestants on Tuesday.

They went on a tour of the Fijian Elections Office (FEO) in Toorak, Suva, and learned about elections and how they were conducted.

The contestants were hosted to morning tea at the FEO and during the visit, Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem gave them a briefing.

Contestants learned about the role of the FEO and its preparedness for the 2018 General Election.

While addressing the contestants, Mr Saneem encouraged them to promote healthy social media consumption, especially since this is an election year.

The visit also provided an opportunity for FEO staff to mingle with the contestants and have pictures taken.
