Two Buca Bay Players In U14 Squad
Two Kaji players from Buca Bay, Vanua Levu will join the national Under-14 squad to prepare for the tour of Tonga in December.
Coach Elia Francis said Ilaitia Dakuwaqa and Suliano Jese got the nod from the selectors at the Vodafone Kaji Rugby Competition at the ANZ Stadium, Suva, yesterday.
“Our mission was to reach the finals but we were defeated during the quarterfinals,” Francis said
“The boys did their best and I am happy for them what they were able to achieve.
“Two of our players have been named in the national squad to tour Tonga on December and the trip has been worth it.
“It was quite expensive getting to Viti Levu and we did a lot of fundraising to get here.
“I thank all the parents for giving their time in supporting the players throughout.”
