Counsel change?

There seems to be a move to change the legal counsel at this high-profile organisation. It seems the frankness of the current counsel does not please those who do not want to hear dissenting views.

Is Rakiraki serious?

Only five people turned up at a consultation meeting held by Minister for Waterways and Envrionment Mahendra Reddy at Rakiraki. The main topic on the agenda was drainage problems.

When it rains and Rakiraki gets flooded people complain. When the minister arrives to discuss the problems, only a  small group turns up. Are they serious in Rakiraki about fixing the drains? It does not make sense.

Air fresheners popular

Who would ever thought that air freshners are in big demand? Apparently it is popular in the Nakasi areas, Police have discovered.

Acting on a tip-off, they caught some students allegedly in the act at a supermarket. The students claimed they were selling them to car owners at a very cheap price.

Contracts terminated

Two lecturers at the Fiji National University have lost their jobs for alleged dishonesty cases.
