Sivoki Saves Blues

Kolinio Sivoki was the toast of the Lautoka side for scoring the equaliser in the 1-1 draw against Ba in the 2018 Vodafone Premier League yesterday.
What happened: Ba started on a high note as they applied pressure from the first whistle.
However, Lautoka came back with two consecutive corner kicks but Ba goalkeeper Josaia Ratu defended well.
Lautoka’s Benjamin Totori took an exceptional free kick in the 23rd minute but Ratu was alert.
The Lautoka side had the services of Totori, Osea Vakatalesau, Kavaia Rawaqa, Poasa Bainivalu, Shazil Ali, Jone Vesikula and Navneel Nand.
Halftime: Ba 0 –0 Lautoka
Lautoka was outpaced in the 64th minute as Saula Waqa scored
Ba continued to applied pressure and Meli Codro had only the goalkeeper to beat but missed .
Lautoka made a tactical change with Navneel Nand replaced by Epeli Rokosuka.
Lautoka finally grabbed the opportunity after Dave Radrigai was fouled in the penalty box.
Sivoki took the penalty and scored in the last 30 seconds of the match.
Ba had the services of Abbu Zahid, Saula Waqa, Manasa Naiwakula, Avinesh Swamy, Malakai Tiwa, Samuela Nabenia, Meli Codro and Kishan Sami.

Big play: Lautoka’s Totori played outstandingly.
Comments: Lautoka coach Kamal Swamy said: “We scored in the last minute. We made some errors in defence which led to Ba scoring. We also need to win our remaining league matches to defend our league title.”
Ba team manager Arvind Singh said: “We played the game well but luck was on the Lautoka side. I’m happy with the way the boys have played.”
