Australian swimmer Max Osborn aim to clock good times at the 2018 Junior Pan Pacific Championship which starts at the Damodar City Aquatic Centre in Suva to­morrow

The 17-year old will take part in 400metres and 800m freestyle during the competition

Osborn is looking forward to the competition

“I am very excited and I am looking forward for some tough competition with swimmers from other countries,” Osborn said

“We train a lot with our elite swimmers in Aus­tralia and they help us to always become better.

“We have David Morgan and Lorrie Taylor that has always been with us during training.

“I look up to them and try and to be like them in the future.”

The Gold Coast, Australia native aims to stay in sport in future

“I hope to make swimming a career and see how far it can take me.

“Ever since I was growing up swimming was one of the common sports in Australia so I just fell in love with it.”
