Suva Grammar School celebrated the achievements of their netball teams on Friday night.

The SGS netters made a clean sweep during the Fiji Secondary Schools Netball competition in Lautoka last weekend.

The school won the Under-15, U17 and U19 grades.

Grammar coach Navitalai Naivalu said the netters deserved to be applauded for their hard work.

Naivalu also made special mention of their sponsors Aaron Aric Marketting who has helped the team for two years now.

“The key was discipline and teamwork,” Naivalu said.

“We have a strong support from the parents, old scholars and staff members.

“We won two grades last year, the U15 and the under- 19 and this year we are very fortunate to win the under-17 after four years.

“The netball girls laid the platform for all the sports in the school.

“The celebration is really to thank the girls for their effort.”

Naivalu said they are hoping to move on and continue to make their mark in other sports.
