Pallister Wins Her Third Gold Medal

Australian swimmer Lani Pallister took out her third gold medal by winning the women’s 1500m freestyle at the Junior Pan Pacific Championships at Damodar Aquatic Centre, Suva last night.
The 16-year-old Queensland native clocked a time of 16 minutes 9 seconds.
Pallister also won gold medals in the 400m and 800m freestyle events.
“I’m excited with what I have achieved during the competition,” she told SUNsports.
“It’s always incredible seeing the support of my team and they have really being supportive for the whole four days which made me achieve another win.”
Pallister added that her next step is to train hard and improve on her times.
“After this I will be focusing more on my training so that I can improve on my swimming skills.
“Training hard and taking part in a national short course in order to qualify to be part of the Australian national team.
“I did trust myself during the competition and I really tried very hard and it has been paid off. My mum has been my main motivator all the way,” she added.
