Harris Warns Of Super Players In NRC

Fiji Airways Fijian Drua forwards and defence coach Brad Harris is excited to be working with our young talented players as they build-up to their National Rugby Championship (NRC) opener on Saturday.
Speaking to SUNsports yesterday, Harris said they are expecting tough Australian teams who are going to field their Super Rugby players.
“We’ve a talented team with these young front rows who have been groomed by Grumpy (Alan Muir).
“These players have gone through the system with one or two test caps between them.”
The former Georgia forwards coach said the system in place has seen the rise of these players.
“The pace and tempo of the game that are going to be played is of Super Rugby level.
“It’s going to be a real test for the Drua and something we can learn from and make it better.”
He added that the Melbourne Rising are getting in their Super Rugby players.
In 2015 Harris was the head coach of Canberra Vikings that played in the NRC before he moved over to Georgia for a two year-contract.
The Fijian Drua take on Melbourne Rising at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori, on Saturday. The kick-off time is 3pm.
Ticket price is $10 and free admission for children Under-12. The tickets are sold at the Nausori Town Council and the Fiji Rugby Union office in Suva.
