India Roadshow Draws Quality Agents

Tourism Fiji completed their annual India Roadshow to four cities in India including Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore.
The roadshow was organised to promote travel to Fiji from India by introducing new resorts, experiences and activities to the travel trade in India.
The four-city roadshow attracted close to 500 participants who engaged with Fijian industry partners during the event. The delegation included hoteliers, resorts and destination management companies from various regions in Fiji.

“We welcomed the opportunity to update our partners on the wide range of activities that Fiji has to offer.
“We look forward to continue to develop business to Fiji, given the easier connectivity we have now via Singapore,”
Marriott International Resorts participated in the Tourism Fiji India Roadshow to take advantage of the opportunity to gain a direct audience with their key accounts in the Indian market and share knowledge on their five properties in Fiji.
“Being the largest hotel chain in Fiji, it was fitting to partner with Tourism Fiji and share the ‘Bula Spirit’ in a growing new market and actively push for double digit growth by 2019,” shared Javed Shameem, Cluster Director of Sales for Marriott International Resorts in Fiji.
Tourism Fiji’s Brand Ambassador Ileana D’Cruz launched the roadshow with a video of her recent trip to Fiji.
She will be promoting the destination throughout this year which will surely amplify Fiji’s presence in market.
