Worried family members are still searching for 63-year-old Log Nadan, who has been missing for the past six days from his Velovelo home in Lautoka.

Mr Nadan has been missing from August 23, 2018, midnight as reported by the daughter, Premila Wati from Rakiraki.

“Last Wednesday night the family had talked with him through the phone and he just mentioned to them that he was feeling a bit sick for the past one month,” Mr Wati said.

“Dad was staying alone in the house after the death of his wife 12 years ago.

“When we went to check his house, there was nothing missing inside and everything was kept as it was before.”

She added that the phone was ringing till 9pm on Thursday then after 10pm it was switched off.

“We called him the whole day from 7.30am and it just kept on ringing but no answer at all,” she said.

Mr Nadan’s nephew Jainesh Pillay, who stays beside him, said he did not see him go out anywhere.

“He was a very nice person and did not have arguments with anyone in the area,” Mr Pillay said.

“We lodged a complaint at Natabua police station just after few hours of him not answering his phone and not being seen in the house”.
