Semi Scott Wara says the Vodafone Fijian national football team will need to communicate more if they are to beat Solomon Islands at the ANZ Stadium, Suva tonight.

Playing for English Championship side Stoke City, the 19-year old Nalawa, Ra native added his inclusion in the national squad will be a learning process for him

“Communicating will be one of the biggest factors,” Wara said

“I haven’t been with team for long but what I have seen is a team that is willing to progress in the future.

“I will be looking forward for my first game with the national squad tomorrow.

“I have a chance and I can also learn from them as they learn from me.

“This will definitely be a good experience for me.”

Wara encouraged all fans to always have faith at all times.

Yusuf grateful for support

Meanwhile, Fiji Football Association chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf praise continuing support of Vodafone for the national squad

“Thank you very much for your continuous support and also your investment in our youths,” Yusuf said

“Fiji football ensures that our partners see that our team participates in more international games that will be in the future.

“We will try and do well in our ranking.

“With the support we promise that the players will do their out most with the match against Solomon Islands.”

Vodafone Fijian national coach Christophe Gamel will name his team to play Solomon Islands today.

The 22- member squad are: Misiwani Nairube, Alzaar Alam, Laisenia Raura, kilinio Sivoki, Remueru Tekiate, Kavaia Rawaqa, Peniama Drova, Krishna  Sami, Mohammed Ramzan Khan, Semi Scott Wara, Dave Radrigai, Christopher Wasasala, Ame Votoniu, Zibraaz Sahib, Paulo Buke, Hussaini Khan, Junior Narendra Rao, Abbu Zahid, Ratu Kaliova Dau, Rusiate Matarerega, Saula Waqa, Roy Krishna.
