Blues Coach Confident

Police Blues head coach Solomone Nute is confident that they can successfully defend the Escott Shield against Navy at Albert Park, Suva on Saturday.
After beating Covenant Blue 17-5 in the semi-final last Saturday, the former Suva prop said they need to up the momentum in the final push.
“We will not be leaving any stones unturned in our preparations,” Nute said.
“The players are ready and looking forward to deliver for the team. We will be focusing more on areas that we need to improve on against a formidable side like Navy.”
Navy manager Penaia Latianara said Police Blues would be the team to beat.
“Our players have been preparing well. We are working on areas that needs to be fixed in order to do well during the final.
“We reached the final last year and we need to step-up this year. The players are looking forward for the match.”
