Nadi start 2019 Season On Saturday

The Jack’s sponsored Nadi Rugby Union quarterfinals are set for Saturday at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.
As defending champions Nawaka will face Dratabu.
Tournament coordinator Jeff Tamata during the quarter-final launch at the Nadi Farmers Club said, “Nadi Rugby after proper consultation and review has begun its 2019 preparation this year. This is our first phase plan where all club administrators and coaches are in unison to raise the standard of the club competition in Nadi.
“We are trying to build on a solid foundation and the next crop of players will reap the benefits in years to come.”
Jack’s Group of Companies marketing & public relations officer Biunavulo Tadranu Veikauyaki said, “We have three-year contract with Nadi Rugby Union. Last year the team did well and this year we finished eighth which was not good. We have to work together in 2019 and to get both the trophies in Nadi.”
There will be a $5000 prizemoney for the Super and Premier categories.
The quarter-final draws are:
11.30am: Naduruniu vs Police, Ravoravo (Sabeto) vs Nasesevia;
12.50pm Army vs Gaunavou, Korovuto vs Momi;
2.25pm Saunaka vs Korotabu, Airport vs Korobebe;
4pm Nawaka vs Dratabu
5.35pm Western Marine vs Saunivalu.
