Tuitubou Backs Young, New FijiFirst Candidates

The Minister for Youth and Sports, Laisenia Tuitubou, is backing the young FijiFirst candidates who will contest this year’s General Election.
Mr Tuitubou himself is one of the 11 current parliamentarians of the FijiFirst Party who will not contest this year’s General Election.
Speaking to Fiji Sun yesterday after the launching of the 2018 International University Sports Day, Mr Tuitubou said: “I will still support the FijiFirst party with its policies and what it has gained in the past 10 years.
“I will keep supporting my party,”
FijiFirst MP Mohammed Dean will also not be contesting in this year’s General Election, but is encouraging the public to support FijiFirst.
“I just want everyone to know that they should continue in believing in the party, in its ideals and vision as it has continued all these years,” Mr Dean said
“I have some very crucial personal commitments, one of it being spending more time with my family as Mrs Dean and I are expecting another child.
“I have few investment plans as well on which I need to focus heavily, therefore I feel there are much better individuals out there who can give more commitment and assistance to the party.
