Army, Dratabu In Super Semi

Army will play the Venioni Vuki- captained Dratabu in the Super Premier semifinal at Prince Charles Park in Nadi today.
Army vice-captain Nemani Driu said they are ready to end their six-year winless streak.
Army joined the Nadi Rugby Union in 1987 and won its first KK’s Hardware Shield in 2012 when it defeated Gaunavou 14-5 in the final.
“We are gunning for our second title since 2012,” he said.
“In 2016 we drew and last year we lost twice to Nawaka. But this year the morale is high after we won the Republic of Fiji Military Forces coveted rugby silverware, the Bougainville Trophy.”
Army will be without skipper Viliame Tui, former Vodafone Fijian 7s rep Jiuta Takubu and Jope Tavucilagi who are camping for the annual Ratu Sukuna Bowl competition.
But the team can rely on notable players like Rupeni Bose, Marika Tivitivi, Isaia Vuki and Emosi Namiqa. Olympians Samisoni Viriviri and Kitione Taliga will play for Dratabu.
In the quarterfinal last Saturday, Army edged Gaunavou 31-30.
