Premier division champion Taveuni is confident of retaining their title in the Vanua Levu Muslim Sports IDC.
The 10-day tournament started at Subrail Park, Labasa on Friday.
Team official Sheik Ali said so far they are on track.
“We managed to hold Bulileka 1-1 in our first match on Friday and beat Tandravula 1-0 in our second match,” Ali said.
“Today we face Vunimoli at 11:30am and we are confident of winning.
“Our team joined this tournament in 2011 and played in the final for six years in-a-row and managed to secure three wins in 2014, 2015 and 2017.
“We have 15 players and only two district reps, Mohammed Ifran, 36, and Sheik Ibrahim, 21.
“I would like to thank our sponsor Taveuni Motor Spares for their support.”
