Drua Test In Wet

Fiji Airways Fijian Drua head coach Senirusi Seruvakula warns his men need to get it right and mentally tuned in for the fifth round of the National Rugby Championship at the ANZ Stadium, Suva on Saturday.
The NRC table toppers play the NSW Country Eagles and must continue to generate positive result if they are to host their first home semifinal with games against Canberra Vikings and Western Force to play.
Seruvakula is wary of the new challenge because this would be the first time they would probably play in a heavy underfoot at Laucala because of prevailing wet weather.
The team had their first training run yesterday at USP Ground since arriving from Australia on Monday.
“For this short turnaround, we just need to train, focus and get it right during our training sessions,” Seruvakula said.
“The weather is not good as we were not expecting this but we have to adapt in the wet.
“There a lot of areas we need to address especially working on our clarity and set pieces.
“It’s good to be back after playing two away games. It’s good the boys have experienced playing four rounds for four consecutive weeks and a lot of them are getting used to it.
“It has been a big learning experience for them.”
The Nasautoka, Wainibuka, Tailevu, native believes the players need to be mentally tough at the start against the Country and not playing catch up rugby like they did against Sydney Ray where they come from behind to win 34-31 over the weekend.
“The boys gained confidence in the second half. They kept the ball and did not give penalties away. This Saturday we need to focus.
“Impossible is nothing. We played against former and current Wallabies, Super Rugby players. This is another good test for the boys,” Seruvakula said.
