Keep an umbrella and raincoat at hand because rain is likely to continue until tomorrow.

The Ministry of Rural and Maritime Develop­ment, National Disaster Management and Mete­orological Services, in a release sent a weather sit­uation for the major divi­sions for the next few days.

There is a trough of low pressure lies slow mov­ing over the southwestern parts of the group.

Associated cloud and showers affects Kadavu, southern and eastern parts of Viti Levu and the Southern Lau group.

Its forecast for today is occasional showers over Southern Lau group, Ka­davu and nearby smaller islands, the interior, south­ern and eastern parts of the Viti Levu.

Isolated afternoon or evening thunderstorms with heavy falls possible. Elsewhere, cloudy periods with showers especially in the afternoon or evening.

Moderate to fresh east to southeast winds. Moderate to rough seas.

Outlook for tomorrow: Showers over most places. Isolated thunderstorms and heavy falls passible in the afternoon or evening.
