Residents and businesses in Lautoka and Nadi have been urged to start storing water immediately as the shutdown of water will go ahead at 1 am Saturday morning.
WAF General Manager Customer Services and Acting GM Operations Sekove Uluinayau said last-minute storing of water will only result in low pressure and some may not able to fill up their water vessels.
The shutdown of the Nagado water treatment plant for repairs is expected to last 24 hours.
