The Fijian Elections Office [FEO] has accredited two Observers that will be part of the Multi-National Observer Group [MOG] for the 2018 General Election.

The co-leads of the MOG will be Australia, India and Indonesia.

In  approving  the  accreditation,  the  Supervisor  of  Elections,  Mr  Mohammed Saneem said that the  FEO welcomes the  MOG as an Observer to the  General Election.

“We look forward to the Observer Missions activity in observing this election,” he said.

“The FEO is prepared to provide all the necessary information and support that the MOG will require to fulfil its mission.”

The  two  observers who have  been approved  are  Seema  Chandra  and  Daniel Kark from Australia

More observers will arrive over the weekend in support of the MOG secretariat.
