Revamped Fiji Australia Business Council Website Launched

A new and improved website for this year’s Fiji-Australia Business Council was launched at ANZ Bank House in Suva yesterday.
The joint Fiji-Australia and Australia-Fiji Business Councils’ Forum will be held at the Fiji Marriott Resort and Spa, Momi Bay from 4-6 October this year.
Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama is expected to give the keynote address at the annual forum.
ANZ Country Head and Pacific Head of Commercial Saud Minam said: “It gives me a great pleasure to lead this project of revamping of Fiji Australia Business Council Website.
“It has been a while this website had any work done, as we move forward we need to invest more and more in the digital world and make sure we have updated information.
“Before a person buys a Fiji Airways ticket to come to Fiji from Australia for business and trade opportunities, he or she would like to gain some basic knowledge of Fiji.
“The website provides basic information and some facts about Fiji which will be helpful to people who are planning to look for opportunities in Fiji.”
Mr Minam who is also an executive member of the Fiji Australia Business Council said they would make sure the website is a credible source of information about Fiji.
William and Gosling, President Dave Aidney said: “What you will see today is our starting base, which over time will be developed into a powerful and useful point of reference for would be investors and trading partners wanting to do business with our two countries.” Edited by Sheldon Chanel
