Tanoa Hotel Group has extended its support to the Fiji Cancer Society with a $10,000 cheque to fight against cancer.

Area general manager Fiji Hotels Narend Kumar confirmed that it also recognised the hardwork of the Viseisei Sai Health Centre Trust, which is a charitable trust that was set up to provide a free health service based at Viseisei.

The Health Centre is a purpose-built community facility and the building and the land that it sits on were gifted into the Trust by Professor Rajat Gyaneshwar and Dr Swaran Naidu.The Health Centre has a motto “Love All, Serve All”

Tanoa Plaza Hotel general manager and group sales executive Mere Rakoroi said: “In Tanoa, we celebrate yet another amazing moment where the Tanoa family is getting onto the bandwagon of fighting against cancer.

“The hotel group is well-known for its innovative practices.

“At Tanoa, its people are its main assets and are the foundation of the Tanoa Way, culture and pride.

“The Tanoa Way advocates care, courage, passion and embracing our family and celebrating success.

“Our support and commitment towards Pinktober is simply to show we care and endeavour to make a difference in whatever way we can.”

True to its reputation, the Hotel Group came up with a special cocktail drink, the Pinktober Pink room, pink caps and sarongs and more.

This will boost its support initiatives towards the Fiji Cancer Society.

Tanoa Hotel launched its Pinktober campaign on Monday.
