Charan Jeath Singh believes the National Federation Party (NFP) can  achieve a lot for the people of Fiji.

“Particularly, things that have only been promised by the previous Governments, but have not eventuated,” he said.

The NFP provisional candidate said he would be fair to all people and ensure equal opportunities were given to all.

“I will ensure that new ideas and initiatives are implemented through proper planning and not haphazardly,” the 56-year-old  businessman said.

“The basic necessities of the people must be given priority.

“Having contested the general elections under the NFP banner and served as a Member of Parliament in the opposition from 1994 to 1999 I have what it takes to deliver.”

Being the oldest party in Fiji the NFP has provided leadership at critical junctures to create a just, free and fair society irrespective of race, class or religious belief.

Mr Singh said the NFP had been advocating on many key issues for several decades, some of which have been achieved while some were still being pursued.

“NFP believes in a fair, democratic and non-racist Fiji,” he said.
