Sugar  Cane Growers Fund Launched Employeee Of The Month Programme.

The Sugar Cane Growers Fund office in Lautoka  was a hype of activities for management and staff last weekend.

Board chairman Ariff Ali last Friday, launched the Employeee of the Month programme.

In his address, Mr Ali stressed the importance of people (employees) in the success of the organisation.

There was also a workshop on Saturday, it was opened by board director, Sundresh Chetty who provided an insight of the industry challenges and important role that Fund plays.

The team went through subject of the Way Foward for the Fund , sound practices of lending, product overviews, review of process and lending policy gap analyisis.

Fund chief executive officer Raj Shama said it was important to get our key people across as we embark on transformation journey of the Fund.

He said it was important to focus on the high priority areas of the Fund specifically the lending activities.

The team was also provided insight of Personal Property Act and its implications by Sugar Cane Growers Council Legal Counsel Sheetal Chetty.
