The Permanent Secretary for Public Enterprises Jitendra Singh on Wednesday presented gifts on behalf of the Government to the Children’s Ward at the Labasa Hospital.

He was received by the Acting Head of Department of the Paediatrics Ward, Dr Raape Diege, and the head of Administration at the hospital Krishna Kumari.

Mr Singh also took the time to visit the children and acknowledge the hard work of the hospital staff members.

This was part of the Fiji Day programmes where the Government visited children’s hospitals, orphanages and special schools taking the spirit of Fiji to Fijians who were unable to take part of the celebrations.
