The Fiji Airways Fijian Drua secured a home semifinals after beating Western Force 33-28 in the last round of the Aus­tralian National Rugby Champi­onship at the UWA Sports Park, Perth yesterday.

The Drua top the table with 27 points and will meet the winner of the Canberra Vikings-Brisbane City game at Churchill Park, Lau­toka on Saturday.

What happened: The Force domi­nated the first half scoring two quick tries in the 10th and 12th minute converted by halfback Ian Prior to lead 14-0.

The Fijians staged a fightback re­sulting in tries in the 35th minute to Aporosa Tabulawaki which was converted by fullback Enele Malele.

Halftime: Western Force 14-7 Fiji Airways Fijian Drua.

In the second spell, the visitors came out strong with tries to Le­vani Kurumudu and Enele Malele, 21-14

The Western Force did not lose hope and scored another try in the 61st minute to Rod Davies, 21-21

Drua scored another try to Apisa­lome Vota and Alivereti Veitokani sealed the win another try, 33-21.
