Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama will open the Namosi Provincial Council meeting today at Ro Matanitobua House in Navua.
Roko Tui Namosi Rupeni Kanaturaga said the opening would be held after traditional iTaukei ceremonies of welcome.
He said the meeting would be taken up entirely to discuss development within the province.
Mr Kanaturaga said there would be a change in today’s meeting because civil servants will not make presentations.
“They will only answer questions raised concerning their ministries,” he said.
Mr Kanaturaga said delegates would also present reports.
Another important agenda of the meeting, he said, would be the passing of the 2019–2020 Budget.
