FIJI Water provided $100,000 towards the national team’s preparation for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

Making the donation in Suva yesterday, FIJI Water president Elizabeth Stephenson said the sponsorship is to assist the Fiji Paralympic Committee.

“We are privileged to be able to support various Fijian communities and adding Fiji Paralympics, significantly strengthens our ability to do more for Fijians.

“This partnership with the Fiji Paralympic Committee allows us to do something we haven’t done before which is to support Fijians who are different and realise their full potential in sports,” Stephenson said.

Meanwhile, Fiji Paralympic Committee president Shaenaz Voss welcomed FIJI Water support.

“We are so grateful to FIJI Water for recognising the potential in our athletes and agreeing to support us as we build towards the Tokyo Paralympics in 2020,” Voss said.

The Tokyo Paralympics will be held from August 25 to September 6.
