Ratu Epenisa Walks Out After Misunderstanding

It is understood that he was not happy with the PM’s presence.
A misunderstanding between the Bau Central College committee members and the Turaga na Masau, Ratu Kinijoji Toganivalu led to a walkout by Ratu Epenisa Cakobau.
This was before the chief guest to the college’s prizegiving ceremony, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama arrived for the event yesterday.
The Fiji Sun was told that the committee had agreed that only one chair for the chief guest was to be placed at the top end of the shed.
Ratu Epenisa was already sitting with the chiefs of Tailevu when the Turaga na Masau told him to sit with the Prime Minister.
Another chair was taken up and Ratu Epenisa sat on it.
However, when the Turaga na Masau was told of the original plan, he went up to Ratu Epenisa to ask him to come down and join the Tailevu chiefs.
The Fiji Sun later saw Ratu Epenisa leaving his chair and went straight to his vehicle and drove off.
A reliable source told the Fiji Sun that Ratu Epenisa was not happy, especially when he was already sitting with the chiefs from Tailevu.
