Indian Experts Interested In Fiji Partners

SCHWING Stetter, one of India’s leading concrete pumping companies has shown interest in partnering with Fiji by providing world class concreting equipment.
The company was part of the inaugural Best of India’s Show at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva last Friday and Saturday.
SCHWING Stetter chief representative- Indonesia Operations Shailendra Haibe said the tradeshow has been a success and they have gotten positive responses from the local businesses.
“We are looking for partnership in Fiji’s infrastructure development in areas like building contractors and construction equipment,”Mr Haibe said.
“We had excellent response from the businesses and we are hopeful of building a new relationship with Fiji.”
Mr Haibe added they are trying to explore the Fijian market and get a better understanding of the demand.
“This is the first time that we are here and it is more of the exploration of the market and who can be our prospects to customers and partner,” he added.
“Fiji market is mainly dominated by suppliers from Australia so we would like to know more on the market demand and how it fluctuates.
“Fiji has the mechanism and efficiency of construction.
“If it needs to be improved we can go for the sophisticated equipment so construction can be done with lesser man power.”
