Fifty-one non-commissioned officers (NCO) of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF), on October 18, grad­uated from the Junior-Non Commissioned Officers (JNCO) promotional course.

The training was held at the Force Train­ing Group (FTG) in Nasinu.

Participants of the course were chosen from all the units in the RFMF including personnels from the Fiji Navy Squadron and Territorial Force (TF) brigade and be­gan the course on August 5 this year.

The Junior-Non Commissioned Officers course was conducted for 11 weeks where the participants witnessed grueling and strenuous activities ranging from Leader­ship exercises during the field phase to es­say writing, construction of lesson plans in the lecture rooms and more.

The training highlighted various tasking factors Lance Corporals of the institution needed to contemplate when dealing with operational tasks given to them.

Present to officiate the event was Major Vatimio Leva of the Land Force Command Battalion who challenged the participants to apply all that they have learnt during the course in their respective units.

Also present to witness the special event were officers, personnel of the RFMF and family members of the 51 JNCO course participants.
