Solomon Islands Bodybuilding Federation president Pius Maemae is confident his athletes will do their best.

“We selected the best athletes after our national competition last month,” Maemae said

“Our preparation was really good building up to this championship.

“Our focus is to defend what we won at the 2017 South Pacific Bodybuilding Championship in Solomon Islands.

“We are here to defend our titles.

“This will also be a good exposure for some of our players.

“We will try and build our squad for the 2019 Pacific Games in Samoa.”
