Future Farms Limited trading as Rooster Poultry, scooped a Gold Medal during the International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) 2018 at the Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore from October 22-25.

The four-member team was led by Kakushin Team manager, Lavenia Ranadi alongside Taina Dau, Tareek Jamil and Sunil Kumar.

Rooster Poultry Quality Assurance manager Lavenia Ranadi, 30, said: “We never doubted that we would bring back the gold award which is something very big in a world stage.

“When we look at where we came from, just a small company in Ba and making a big impact in the world stage where big companies such as Toyota and others from Japan to Singapore are part of.

“They came with expectations and aiming to win, but we managed to go above their levels to win a gold medal which is something very big.

“For us a very small company in Ba, we never dreamt that we could win something like this.”

Rooster Poultry general manager Stanley Raniga, said the win was dedicated to all the employees in the company who were part of the wonderful process.

He said: “Being recognised at international level such as the Convention on Quality shows the resilience and determination of our people and it is reflected in such accolades.”

The team was also accompanied by Rooster Poultry Risk and Safety manager Samuela Naisua, and FNU’s NTPC facilitator Bob Kolitagane.
